Manual Induction Sealers

Manual induction sealers are portable devices used to securely seal containers with a foil or plastic lid using electromagnetic induction technology. They are commonly employed in industries like food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics to ensure product freshness, tamper-evidence, and leak-proof packaging. The manual operation allows for precise control and flexibility, making them ideal for small to medium production runs or for use in locations where automated sealing isn’t feasible. These sealers typically feature a hand-held induction coil, a power supply, and a control unit, allowing operators to quickly and efficiently seal containers by placing the lid and activating the sealer.

Features & Characteristics

  • Portability & Design: Compact, handheld units, often with stainless steel or durable ABS housing, suitable for small workspaces.
  • Versatile Sealing Diameter: Most models handle cap sizes ranging from 20 mm up to 120 mm.
  • Adjustable Power & Time: Digital controls allow operators to adjust sealing time and power intensity for different bottle materials and cap sizes.
  • Safety Features: Often include waterless design, automatic overheating protection, and over-current protection.
  • High-Efficiency Heating: Utilizes pure copper coils for faster, more efficient heat induction.
  • Non-Contact Operation: Creates an instantaneous seal via electromagnetic field, enhancing hygiene.
  • Wide Application: Suitable for sealing plastic and glass containers for food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.

Applications & Usage

  • Preparation: Ensure the induction liner (foil/wad) is inside the cap, and screw the cap tightly onto the container. The liner must sit flat.
  • Wand Placement: Center the sealing wand directly over the cap, ensuring it is flat and parallel to the cap, not tilted.
  • Activation: Press the switch or button to initiate the heating cycle.
  • Timing: Set the timer, typically between 0.5 to 2.0 seconds, depending on the bottle size and material.
  • Cooling: Allow a few seconds for the adhesive to cool and set properly for a secure seal.
