Marking and Coding

Common marking methods include inkjet printing, laser marking, thermal transfer, and dot peen coding. Each method is selected based on the material, production speed, and durability requirements. For example, laser marking offers permanent, high-quality codes without contact, ideal for metals or plastics.

ZANASI Printer Z408

The ZANASI Printer Z408 heavy-duty inkjet, Drop-on-Demand (DOD) large character inkjet printing system delivers high-definition coding and marking across complex industrial operations. Its compact AISI 304 stainless steel cabinet features advanced IP protection to excel in demanding production environments, resisting dust, humidity, extreme temperatures, and heavy vibrations without compromising throughput. Statpack Industries supplies the Z408 to help manufacturers print sharp alphanumeric text, dynamic 1D/2D barcodes, batch numbers, and logos directly onto diverse porous, semi-porous, and non-porous surfaces—including corrugated cartons, timber, extruded materials, plastic bags, and metal sheets.

To maximize operational flexibility, the Z408 console independently drives up to four NZ printheads simultaneously. Operators can print up to 10 lines of text across multiple sides of a package or manage several distinct production lines from a single centralized controller. The system simplifies navigation through intuitive Orkestra® management software on a bright 10.1-inch color touchscreen display, offering drag-and-drop graphic message editing and multi-language support. Ethernet, USB, and serial ports enable seamless OEM line integration, high energy efficiency, and a low total cost of ownership (TCO) for Statpack’s packaging clients.
