Features & Characteristics
- Dual Cutting & Kneading Functionality: Features a combination of rotating cutter blades and hammer mills/kneading plates that slice crop stalks and break down tough outer husks into soft, digestible forage.
- Versatile Feedstock Processing: Processes both wet (green) and dry materials, including corn stalks, Napier grass, alfalfa, wheat straw, rice straw, sugarcane tops, and sorghum.
- Automatic Chain-Conveyor Feed: Equipped with a chain or belt-driven feeding inlet that automatically pulls material toward the cutting chamber, reducing manual effort and preventing jams.
- Adjustable Cut Lengths: Integrated multi-gear gearbox allows operators to adjust the discharge length (typically ranging from 10 mm to 35 mm) depending on whether the feed is intended for cattle, sheep, or silage production.
- High-Blower Discharge Chute: Features a high-elevation vertical discharge spout with an adjustable deflector hood, blowing processed fodder directly into collection pits, trailers, or storage bags.
- Flexible Power Options: Driven by an electric motor (3-phase or single-phase depending on capacity), diesel engine, or tractor PTO coupling for remote field operation.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Built on a reinforced steel chassis with high-manganese steel blades and hardened hammer heads for wear resistance during continuous heavy operation.
- Mobility Design: Mounted on a 4-wheel steel frame with steering handles for repositioning around barns and feed sheds.
Applications & Usage
- Livestock Feed Preparation: Chops green and dry crop stalks—such as corn stalks, sugarcane tops, Napier grass, alfalfa, wheat straw, and rice straw—into small pieces (typically 10–30 mm) to increase digestibility and reduce feed wastage for cattle, sheep, goats, and horses.
