Semi-auto Pallet Strapping Machine
A semi-automatic pallet strapping machine is a motorized packaging device designed to streamline the process of securing palletized goods with plastic straps (usually polypropylene or polyester).

- Retractable Strapping Sword (Lance): Many vertical pallet models feature a flat, mechanical sword that automatically passes through the pallet’s bottom gaps, saving the operator from bending over.
- Adjustable Tension & Cooling Timers: Dial-in exact tension requirements (ranging from 7 kg up to 150 kg) to prevent crushing delicate boxes, and adjust the weld-cooling time for maximum joint strength.
- Strap Compatibility: Versatile machines work with both Polypropylene (PP) and Polyester (PET) straps, typically ranging from \(9\text{ mm}\) to \(16\text{ mm}\) in width.
- Mobility: Built-in heavy-duty casters allow the machine to be rolled directly to bulky, stacked pallets rather than moving the pallets to a fixed station.
- Low Maintenance: Systems feature straightforward, easy-to-access control panels and quick-load strap dispensers, minimizing downtime during coil changes.
Applications & Usage
- Load Placement: Position the loaded pallet directly in front of or inside the strapping machine.
- Strap Feeding: Pass the strap over the top and manually push it through the designated gap underneath the pallet or through the mobile track sword.
- Tensioning: Retrieve the other end of the strap and insert it into the feed inlet. The machine’s motorized rollers will pull out the slack and apply your preset tension.
- Sealing: Once the tension limit is reached, the machine automatically heat-seals the strap ends and cuts the excess.
